Alyssa D. Dahl

Attorney

Alyssa was born and raised in Posey County, Indiana. After graduating from Mount Vernon High School, Alyssa attended Bob Jones University in South Carolina and received a Bachelor of Science in Music with proficiency in Voice Performance. Alyssa earned a Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law. While in law school, Alyssa was a member of Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity and partnered with international non-profits as a student staff member of the Center for Global Justice. Alyssa was also a graduate teaching assistant for Dean Bradley Jacob and taught constitutional law and legal process classes to undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in Law students. 

After law school, Alyssa and her husband moved to Colorado where she practiced family law. After the birth of their son, they decided to move back to Mount Vernon to raise their family because of their belief in the traditional values she learned growing up there. She joined The Nice Law Firm because of its commitment to providing a wide range of legal services in a competent and competitive manner to Hoosiers living in suburban and rural settings.  

Alyssa is excited to practice law in Posey County and the neighboring small communities. She grew up in her family’s small agricultural business. Her real-life experience in the challenges of running a small business compelled her to focus on business law elective classes during law school, so that she would be well equipped to represent local businesses in her hometown. Alyssa embraces the opportunity to serve as a champion for her clients in their individual and business lives. Her practice is focused on real estate, small business, family law, and wills/trusts/estate planning.  And, if the legal need is beyond her experience, The Nice Law Firm has many other attorneys with a vast number of skillsets ready, willing, and able to assist her clients as well.  

Fun fact: Alyssa was raised on land the Juncker’s (her maiden family name) settled when they immigrated from Germany in the early 1900s. 

Alyssa is also an Adjunct Professor teaching Constitutional Law I for Regent University School of Law’s Master of Arts in Law program. Alyssa enjoys running, skiing, golfing, baking, and traveling with her husband and son.
